Pure Black Tea
Since 1689 and the Nerchinsk treaty between the Russian and Manchu Empires, the caravans pulled by camels that transported tea followed a route parallel to the road. On every leg of the journey, the convoys stayed in sumptuous buildings, some of which still stand today, even if the Dodges replaced the camels from 1925. The memory of this “tea road” is everlasting due to the Caravan blends of black full-bodied teas gathered and/or distributed on the way.
